  • No mine should be on their best behavior at other peoples houses. So in essence they should be better behaved when they are visiting a friends house than when they are at home.

  • I did not like how I worded my first answer. I expect my kids to be respectful of the rules and not get too complacent. My daughter brought a girl home once who climbed on my counter to look for a snack in my cabinets. I was taken aback by how rude that was.

  • I expect my kids to behave better at other people's homes than at ours. I mean don't we all put on our best manners when at other's homes? I kick back on my couch and prop my feet on the coffee table, but I'd never do that at someone else's place. That's what I expect from my kids - that next level of politeness and good behaviour.

  • Yes I try for this but it is difficult as there are different rules. Still though I teach my kids respect no matter where we are.

  • Yes. If I ever found out my kids weren't behaving they would be in all sorts of trouble.

  • I expect Samuel to act politely as he can for a 2 very almost 3 year old.

  • No. I know she acts respectful. Although at my sister's then boyfriend's, (now Husband), house she has walked right to the fridge!!! I could not believe it, but they all said, "Hey at least she is being herself."
    I had to laugh.
