Sure looks like they want peace doesn't it?

Much sarcasm..

The Palestinian Authority religious affairs minister, a week before peace talks in Washington, warned of war if Jerusalem is not "returned" to its owners. And we are its owners."

  • Jerusalem always belonged to the Jews, it is called the city of light and where the Temple was built. Just goes to show that the Palestinians don't really want peace at all, they just want a war to get whatever they can. Same old bs. And about the Palestinians being kicked out of their houses back in the 1920's-1940's, , read your history. They SOLD a lot of their land to the Jews.

  • Palestine was Israel before it was Palestine. Funny how the ancestral land claims forget it was ancestrally it was Israel first.

  • All this going back throughout history will get us nowhere. The only answer is peaceful co-existence. I'm not stupid enough to think it will happen anytime soon, but it MUST happen. The Palestinians were kicked out of their houses and told to just get out. How do you think that would fly in your life? Would you sit back and let it happen? There are a lot of other issues as well, the retaliations of Palestine and the growing extremism from both sides which turns the issue into a black and white, us or them issue. Why do people feel it is OK to separate Palestinians from their families, their jobs and life? It is an act of war to do that. Put them in camps and restrict their access to food, medicine, building's appalling. I for one am not surprised that the Palestinians are grouping together into one violent, pissed off mass. Jerusalem doesn't 'belong' to Israel or Palestinians. It must belong to both.

  • People who claim one side is right and the other side is wrong in the Israel/Palestine conflict prove nothing except that they don't understand the conflict. If it were as simple as one side being good and one side being evil, this would've been settled centuries ago.

  • Wow, momentofpeace, i think you need to step away from the computer, and go pray to Allah for a few more moments of peace. Seriously, you got way off your rocker over a few comments.

  • How juvenile of you Carpy to bring her husband into this debate. Obviously she is talking about your talk with just ONE GUY with an un-arabic name - Tony and you believe everything he says.

SHE brought him up. Try to pay attention.

  • It's kind of like if some other country gained control of America, made us all move to Mexico, and gave the land back to the Native Americans. I'm sure we wouldn't be that pleased with it either.

  • Well speaking as someone who has spoke extensively with people who had to live through the destruction of Lebenan when they gave refuge to the Palistinians, I have no mercy for them. They have NO desire to live peacefully with the Jews. They want them destroyed and have never accepted a peace with them. They always draw first blood to end any type of peace agreements ever reached.
