I'm pretty sure if they induce you, you run the risk of going home with a newborn baby.... :-p
Just remember, if your doctor decides to induce you, they believe that the benefits will outweigh any risks.

Akalei... Increased risk means more of a chance of thise things. Of course they can happen to women during birthing, but it increases that risk.
That being said I had a very easy induction with my middle child. It was actually the easiest of my births.
