How many times do they change your due date?

I was measuring a week ahead at the hospital (was in a minor car accident) so i think they might change my due date next time I go for my prenatal appointment. They do do that right? And just curious, how many times has anyone's due date been changed?

  • Even if your due date is accurate meaning you Know when the first day of your LMP was and you run 28 days and ovulated on the 14th day Your Estimated due date is still plus or minus 2 weeks. It is not like a library book that if you go over there is a fine. Measuring 1 week ahead is nothing.  they come when they come.

  • They can do an ultrasound to get an accurate due date. Mine changed 3 times and I'm onyl 16 weeks, it only changed by a few days though. :)

  • My primary doctor gave me December 21st at my confirmation appointment...but my OBGYN changed it to the 20th. I'm still measuring right along with that date at 30 weeks =]

  • I was only given one due date and I was 7 days late.

  • I'm 13 weeks and I've already had 2 different due dates. The doc can only give you an ESTIMATED date of delivery. A lot can change over the course of a pregnancy.

  • I got changed 3 times. First it was 4/27, then 5/20, then 5/14. She was born on 5/11.

  • My due date was changed by 2 days after the second ultrasound I had. The doctor requested it because she thought I was measuring bigger, but the ultrasound just confirmed the dates I gave them intially. After that she was thinking maybe it was because I'm a little smaller than the average adult woman that made me look bigger. I also showed sooner too.
