  • I would say when u r ready. Our son was baptized at almost 4 months. Alot of people get thier babies baptized at less then 6 months of age.

  • I agree with dancer, it depends on you and when you are ready. There is no perfect or better time.

  • There is no set time, we always picked a date that just worked well for us.

  • My 3 were baptized at 6 weeks, and confirmed at 13. And my 3 children did the same so far with the baptizing, too young yet to be baptized.

  • yeah depends on you

  • My personal opinion is when they can choose for themselves if they want to be baptised. When they choose the religion that they want to follow if any. When they want to give themselves to that religion to practice and follow. That is their body, that is their soul, not mine. I cannot choose for them what is appropriate.

  • when they are older and understand the meaning of baptism

Answer by Shaneagle777 at 7:37 PM on Sep. 5, 2010

  • When the child is old enough to understand what baptism means and to have a fake relationship with Jesus. Babies shouldn't be baptized at all.
