Removing gum from clothes

My son got some gum on his swimming shirt. I soaked in detergent, used soap to remove some of it and washed it 2 times...still some remains.
Any tips on how to remove it?

Goo gone sounds like it's the best tip. One lady said ice didn't work. One lady mentioned using washing liquid and salt. You can see more at the link above

  • I've been told if you freeze the gum it will peel right off certain fabrics. I only tried it once though.

  • Try using an ice cube on it to freeze it and 'crack it off' or you can put the shirt in the freezer to freeze the gum and then 'crack' peel it off. GL
