What happens if you mix breastmilk and formula in one bottle, is that ok?

I am breastfeeding but supplementing, the idea just came up... would that cause a bad reaction if they are in the same bottle?

  • My babies hate formula by itself. I have to mix it so they drink it. They only get 4 oz of formula a day, each

  • Go ahead and mix it, the more breastmilk they get, the better =)

  • You can mix if you have there a reason you are having to supplement when your baby is so young? Some people are told they have to and its not true so maybe I or someone else could help. Remember the more formula you give the less milk you will make if youa re not away from your baby and even then it can lower supply.

  • its ok to mix, both together, but i do say will gain weight, so if that is the case, then do so. Enjoy your day.
