have you ever overbaked a dessert?

And had it come out still edible?

I did this just last night. I'm an idiot and started baking, knowing how tired I was. I set alarms just in case I fell asleep, and I did..

I baked my cheesecake for 3 HOURS!! It was only supposed to bake for 1 !!!!

Amazingly enough... it was still edible..

Just wondering if anyone else has had a similar experiance?

  • You know some cheese cakes need to bake longer and sit in the oven.. As for me, I recently baked some blue berry muffins. I Love to bake at 350. It said 425. I didn't like how they came out slightly dark on the bottom.. We all do this! Glad yours was still edible! Some take like 5 cream cheeses and can get costly. Best of luck to you!
