  • You can plant Spring flowering bulbs in the fall....but if you planned ahead in the spring... you should have fall blooming flowers now! The mums are opening here in the North Coast, all the fancy grasses are adorned with plumes...keep feeding and deadheading those geraniums, they will bloom until it snows....

  • Mums are my favorite and I have some nice perennial flowers, too, like helianthus, heliopsis, different varieties of sedum.

  • Mums or any type of bulb. Shrubbery and trees are also usually planted in the fall.
