Do you have anyone in your home who refuses to eat left overs?

I have a teenager SD, well actually almost 20, who refuses to eat left overs. She will literally go with out eating and then later sneak a bunch of snacks and complain about being hungry! I have 2 teens who don't mind leftovers and another teen who would rather not but if that is what he is told he needs to eat he will if he doesn't think he can sneak something else to eat.

  • Nope - one of my kids actually requests leftovers on a daily basis when I ask what everyone wants to eat - she'd rather eat leftovers than fresh food! Yeah, we're a leftover loving family, I love cooking huge meals so we have plenty leftover!

  • I HATED eating leftovers when I lived with my parents. I would rather eat toast then eat a leftover of any kind. To me there was something about reheated food that just grossed me out. When I moved in with my (then) boyfriend (now husband) it changed, because we were piss poor broke and I had no choice but to eat leftovers. I still don't prefer it, but sometimes that's the only food that is available for a quick meal. I've learned not to waste food, because of our financial straights, so it's helped me get over my 'leftovers are gross' deal.
