how many naps should a 2yr old take? adult content

my daughter only takes a 30mins to 2 hour nap in a day. how many should she have

  • depends on the child! my son takes one nap a day, it can last 1-3 hours. depends on how tired he is and how long he fought it, therefore delaying the nap lol

  • Depends on the child. My son stop taking naps around 18 months.

  • That all depends on your baby and how much sleep he or she needs. All babies are different and there sleeping and other habits can vary greatly. probably no more than 2 but maybe only 1.

  • Is she having trouble sleeping at night? If not, then I would say she's doing what she needs to do. At 2 my boys only took one nap through the day, but they were between 1 1/2 and 2 hours long... 2 30min naps is still only an hour a day. EVERY child is different and there is no set road map, so what is right for one may not be right for another... If this is working for her, I wouldn't change it...

  • My oldest quit taking any nap when he turned 2 unless he just had a very busy morning.
