  • Since having kids I've lost almost all my friends. Most of them I lost when I got married- the singles ones especially. Then when we started our family right away, I lost the few that were in serious relationships prior. After so many changes in my life, even the friends that have now had kids, I barely talk to because of differences in parenting techniques. My mom and my husband are the only people I really talk to. My sisters and I are starting to get closer and I find I talk to them a couple times a month now, not just around holidays. At the end of the day, family is all you've got. At least it is for me!
