What are common side effects of the flu vaccine?

My 1 yr old daughter got the flu vaccination on Friday Oct. 10th. Now today, Monday, Oct. 13th she has horrible diarrhea. Is that part of the vaccination or maybe a virus?

  • The most common side effects of the flu vaccine is the flu itself! Vomiting, Diarrhea, Fever, dizziness and more...

One of the many reasons we don't vaccinate! EVER!

  • I would say that is most likely from the shot, but to be safe, you might call the nurses at your pedi's office

  • Yes, you will most likely get the flu and your body will make antibodies to protect against that particular strain of the flu, there are many strains of flu, so ur body will recognize that particular one and you will not get that kind of flu in the future.
