What can I plant now in the garden besides turnips and collards..

I am wanting to plant fall veggies.. all I know that can be planted is collards and turnips. Are there any other veggies to plant ?

  • These take approx. 90 days to maturity, so plant by mid-July for a Fall harvest or later for a Spring harvest: Beets, Carrots, Parsnip, Rutabaga, Globe Onions,Brussells Sprouts, Cabbages, Cauliflower and Fava Beans

    These mature in approx. 60 days, so if it stays warm until Nov., you can plant these: Early Carrots, Leek, Kohlrabi, Early Cabbages, Winter Cauliflower, Perennial Herbs and Swiss Chard

    These mature in approx. 30 days, so if it stays warm until at least October, you can plant these now: Chives, Bunching Onions, Radishes, Broccoli, Cover Crops, Leaf Lettuces, Mustard and Spinach
