  • badNope....NOT I!!!!  I have a Daughter who is 10 1/2 but she knows that we do not allow facebook pages for Children in our house. I know that their are privacy settings but IMHO you cannot be too safe. There are people all the time pretending to be people they are not to find out info about kids. I want to keep my Daugther safe. She has a lot of privlidges and does a lot of fun things but Facebook is not something she will be doing until she is older.

  • I know plenty. Mine isn't one of them yet. Her brother, who is 12 just got one, so I can tell that the wheels are working in her mind.

I don't know what I'll say until she asks.

  • I would. I don't see why not... If their friends are all on there, I'm on there... I don't see what the big deal is.

  • Facebook TOS clearly states "You WILL NOT use facebook if you are UNDER 13". I make sure we obey the TOS of any site we choose to use. So the answer is NO my 10 year old would not be allowed to have a facebook page and I WILL report any accounts that belong to any children I KNOW to be under 13.

  • I wouldn't! My DH's kids from his previous marriage have facebooks (at least his 10 year old daughter does) and she's threatened me and everything over it. Also there are so many sexual predators online! You can never be too safe!

  • My children won't get a Facebook account until they are 13. That's how old you should be to have an account and I will teach my kids to follow the rules.
