  • My daughter's father decided that he didn't want anything to do with her when she turned three. When she became an adult, he wanted another chance to be in her life. It never happened, she didn't want anything to do with him by then, and still doesn't. She's 22 now.

  • This is why when I got pregnant I gave the dad a choice...he could either stay and help raise the child and ALWAYS be there or he could go right then and there and not look back. No walking back into her life when she's 2 or 7 or 16...if he had left then, that door was shut! He chose to stay under the circumstances he could never walk out on her or I'd hunt him down and take him for everything I could for her. He chose to stay. But if you have one who doesn't want that burden now...let him go. You can do better with someone else or by yourself.
