how much weight gain is typical for the average sized woman like myself?

  • Each woman is different. NO ONE thought I would gain 40lbs! I started off at 122 & am 5'6.

  • i used to weigh 105, back when i was kinda unhealthy...but now my steady weight is in the mid 120's.....im a bit bigger now, 160. :)

  • with both my pregnancies I lost 20 lbs after i had my kids almost immediately. I don't think that I need to gain more than that to have a healthy baby, but i think every woman is different. I would try to stay below 30, but that's just my opinion.

  • yeah i heard that some women only gain like 20 pounds or so...i also quit smoking over a year ago and since then my weight has kinda gone up a bit slowly and steadily...did not really exercise much before and i regret it now because my body is totally frail and weak

  • Id considered myself average I started a size 6 and I've gained 40lbs and my ob said that was fine lol I gained 50 w my first I didn't intend on this much I've been work out watching what I eat and it just comes on quick near the end

    Everything women is different..so don't get to worried about it. Eat healthy, keep moving and you'll be fine :)
