I have two kids and I don't believe in god. What is your point? I'm not getting the connection.

I have three and one on the way and dont' believe in god. I had this same argument with a Christian woman before- she saw children as gifts from god and I see them as a natural and biological product of sexual intercourse with my husband BUT just because I believe that does not mean I devalue them, not love them or treat them like shit. They are a part of me and the man I love and THAT"S what makes them special to me. I don't need to view them as a gift from a mythological being in order to cherish them and if you do, then that's your problem.
