my 6 week old doesn't wet a diaper through the night...

she wet through the day just fine, i just thought it was weird not at night.. and yes it is most of the time..

  • it's not weird...her body is just already telling her it needs to shut that function down when she sleeps...

  • wow I never heard of that. I thought all baby go potty at night because that is when there more relaxed. Not sure if it is normal or not. But look at it this way if she keeps it like that she will be easy to potty train when it is time lol

  • Does she nurse during the night? I think as long as her total number of wet diapers is ok, then don't worry, although mentioning it to the pediatrician is probably safest.

  • I have 2 wake her up to eat every 5 to 6 hours otherwise she would sleep 7 or 8 hours without eating

  • It's more common in diaper free (elimination communication) babies.
