What color should we paint the nursery?

We don't know the gender of the baby...we're having it be a surprise, and a bigger curve ball in that is that we're thinking it's twins. The curtains are going to be a light pale sage green, but I can't decide on paint color...HELP! lol

  • Maybe a darker sage green? green is a great gender neutral color in my book (blue and red tend to be more masculine.) It's also a calming color, rather than the exciting reds and oranges. Please don't do something like eggshell, or beige...eww. Good luck! And Congrats!

  • anything... Do it with blues & greens, yellows, & some pink.. What theme are you going with? That would help a lot to pick out the colors you should use.

  • i know this may seem crazy but if i ever get pregnant again, we are doing black and white. We are doing swirls all around the room.. nice contrast... <3 just a suggestion.. <3

  • I like the baby green color personally. It is cool and works for both genders.

  • why not two or three different shades of green and maybe an off white, brown or beige circles and dots all over the walls. i knew a woman that did giant polka dots in her nursery, she used the lid of a pot to get a good shape. when do you find out if it will be twins?
