Is neosporin Safe?

My lips have been very chapped tight on a single mom now.... i heard that neosporin is safe to use on ur lips..the antibiotic ointment is this true?? id like some relief!

  • Maybe not as an everyday thing. But if that is all you have in the house, it would help your lips right now. I would do it. Also, cooking oil would help.

  • Read what it says on the packaging. I am pretty sure it says not to take orally, which would mean not for use on the lips. You don't need a germ-killer for chapped lips anyway. A good moisturizer would be the thing. Look in the same area of the store where the chapstick is and pick out a good quality moisturizer.
