Barnyard movie question

its an animated movie starring cows....

dumb question, but the stars are clearly males, but they have udders... so wouldn't that make them girl cows?

Are the cows we normally see in fields females?
The males are bulls?

Just curious, cuz it doesn't look right. lol

  • Bulls do not have udders. I grew up on a cattle ranch, and I can't watch that movie because the udders drawn on bulls are just so wrong.

Ranchers normally have more cows than bulls, because they need fewer bulls, so you are more likely to see cows than bulls. In a pasture of cattle, it will usually be all cows or a lot of cows with one bull. However, you will sometimes see pastures of bulls that are being kept separate from the cows.

  • Yep the males have udders. No clue why that is unless they decided bull balls weren't appropriate for kids. No idea about the farms where you live.
