  • growth spurt

  • Because sleep patterns for an infant are purely temporary. He will change it again. And again. And again. Get used to NOTHING for the next year or so; it will make you less crazy.

  • He is probably hungry or wet, or soiled his diaper. If not, then maybe he is cold? Babies do wake up during the night normally every three hours or so.

  • maybe he's looking for you, my son would sleep through the night then began to wake up in the middle of the night looking for me, he'd fall back asleep after and maybe he's waking up because he's starting to feel uncomfortable with a wet diaper, it could be his teeth coming in as well.

  • may be hungry or teeth are coming in?

  • growth spurt, teeth, wants mom and comfort, any number of reasons. Just give him what he needs to feel happy safe and secure. 5 month olds rarely sleep all night, and there is nothing wrong with a baby who doesnt!

  • Babies sleep patterns are always changing, I always said the Dr. jinxed me because I would say how well he was doing and then bam waking up all the time.
