I'm on Social Security Disability but I need extra money so what can I do to earn some without losing my SS disability?

  • if you are good with crafts you can make and sell on etsy.com or even alot of people on etsy sell " vintage" or household things.

  • even if you already dont have a "craft" something as simple as hairbows ( you can get ribbon for under a dollar) and there are alot of websites that show you how to make different kinds of hairbows...and alot of people buy them .... you could also find very cheap fabric and make throw pillows I see alot of people who sell them for upwards of $30 each

    also i wanted to mention that etsy.com is free

  • I would not recommend following the advice of the PP that said "find something under the table." IF SSA finds out, you would lose your benefits. As an honest question, are you really physically incapable of holding a real job? If so, then you just have to find something that stays within the income guidelines. Contact SSA and find out what your guidelines are. I know that I have sister Pure Romance consultants that are on disability and are able to get by without losing their benefits.
