can I stuff a diy heating pad with

dry lavender? I got the rice ready...I thought about adding some dry lavender for an added aromatherapy boost. It's not a fleece material (cant recall what kind of material it is)...should I double layer the material? Or is the material and filler just fine? I'll forewarn how hot the rice can get before they use it.

  • You can put the lavender in it....my flaxseed ones have my dried lavender that I grow in my garden.... I have no stuffing in my at all. They are just the microfiber material and the flaxseed/lavender mix.

  • Having the dry lavender inside the heating pad sounds lovely! As for the material I cant help, but do be sure to let your customers know they have lavender or other "smell goods" as my mother calls them inside. Some people have allergies or sensitivities.
