Does anyone else like doing that? I love fall and stuff like that but its a shame because there aren't that many farms and orchards around where I live now...we have to drive about an hour to get to a decent place.Answer Question

We love it. We have several orchards right down the road from us. The one we go to offers a hay ride into the orchard. You get off & stay & pick apples for as long as you want, then catch a ride back when you're done. You can eat as many apples as you want while picking. They also have a pumpkin patch, hay maze, petting zoo & a big bulk food store. Lots of area schools go there for field trips. They demonstrate apple pressing to make apple cider along with all the other fun things. Every year on the last Saturday in Sept., they have a big family fun day with face painting, food booths and other attractions. Since our 2 LO's b-days are 2 weeks apart in Sept & Oct., we go there every year for their b-days. They really love it. This year, we're having part of their B-day party there.
