Would you rather have a male or a female teacher teaching your kids?

My kids havn't had many male teacher, but from my experience the ones they have had have been more patient.I'm sure it is just coincidence.

  • My son is 9, and I would love for him to have a good male teacher. Kids respond to the deep voice a little quicker and tend to take men more seriously. I would love my son to have a good male role model.

  • to me it doesn't matter what their sex is as long as they're a good teacher

  • What do I care what they have between their legs? I've had great teachers and lousy teachers of both genders... I want them to have teachers they can relate to, that they can learn from and that is happy to teach them...

  • it's odd, but i do prefer a female teacher for my daughter. If i had a son, I guess I'd say male. That way, if my daughter's a teen and is afraid to come to me with personal questions she'll have another female to ask, and vice versa.

  • I don't care about the gender. I just want my kid's teacher to be patient, understanding, creative, and able to actually teach my children the carriculum.
