Where do u keep your coffee?

I want to keep ours in the pantry but my DH wants it in the fridge (where it is). I think it dries out faster in there. What do yall think>

  • In the cupboard. Keeping it in the fridge or freezer for daily use isn't a good idea, I'm too lazy to look it up but there's something about repeatedly taking it in & out of the cold allows it to start condensating which negatively affects it - yeah, even taking it out for just a few seconds each time is bad.

  • I buy only beans because I have a coffee maker that grinds the beans. I keep the beans in an airtight plastic container on the counter.

  • I keep mine in the freezer until I open a new package of pods. I have a Senseo coffee pot ant it brews with a pod. There are 18 pods in a bag so I drink that in about 2 weeks. Once the bag is open I keep them in a canister on the counter.
I found some delicious Giradelli pods on sale, so I bought 30 bags...lol that is enough coffee for two years. Those are all in the freezer.

  • We keep the open cans on the counter and if we buy extras because they are on sale we put them in the freezer. When we have the money to buy the speciality coffee's we use them so fast that they just stay on the counter too.
