  • move! gentle bouncing, rocking, swaying, walking around. a football hold always calmed my kids. that's where you lay them on their tummy on your forearm, with their arms and legs hanging down and their head in your palm, then walk.

  • how old is thebaby? My son loves to go outside-even if he bumped his head I pick him up and he just smiles when we go outside? Is your baby colicky? (sp) They have Hylands colic tablets and Mylicon worked well.

  • Hmm. Some babies like to be cuddled close to mom, so a front pack carrier or sling might be good. Going for a walk or car ride. Some babies also like white noise, like the fan, a dryer, or a vaccuum cleaner. When my son was little, he was very fussy, but he would stop crying when I would turn on the vaccuum cleaner. Anyway, good luck.
