permanant marker on childs upholstered chair

anything i can try to remove
i was planning on recovering-like that is ever going to get done with my non sewing skills
will try to remove , if it causes more stain-oh well, already markered up
dark blue marker on light blue fabric,
and no, i have not tryed to marker the whole chair! but did cross my mind

  • Sol U Mel is from Melalueca. You have to order it through their web site. It might work, but you have to order it then wait for it in the mail and they try to get you to sell their product so you can get a discounted price.

  • Try Sol-U-Mel - I have had great success getting marker off furniture -and grape juice :) also works great for nail polish on carpet and hair dye on bathroom counters :) Please let me know if you would like more info. Good luck!

  • Add 1 and a half tablespoons white vinegar and a tablespoon of liquid laundry deteregent to 2 cups of warm water. Work it into the stain with a cloth. and blot dry. It may not work, but it won't futher the damage. Worth a try

  • If none of those work try hairspray. Spray the hairspray onto the marker and dab up with a cloth you don't care about or paper towels. Keep doing that until all of the ink has been removed (it could take a while). That took Sharpie out of my MIL's white carpet!
