What is your daily routine?

I am thinking of writing something and need as many different ideas of mothers routines as possible! :)

  • Wake up at 5am, clean up house/kitchen, breakfast/brush teeth, get bed made, get my lunch ready, put on make up. At 6:15, wake my 6 yo son, lay out his clothes, snack & juice. At 6:30, wake my 14 mo. old DD, get her changed, dressed & get her milk while DS brushes teeth. At 6:45, pile everything by the door -- both me and my son's backpacks, purse, blankie, etc. Then I get dressed, throw on some deodorant, & we are out the door no later than 7AM. Drop off kids @ daycare by 7:15, be to work by 7:30am. Work until noon, then during my 1 hr lunch, I usually do homework (taking 6 college credits right now, trying to finish my degree). Back at work at 1PM, work until 5pm, mad rush through rush hour to pick up kids by 5:15pm. We're home by 5:45-5:50. Start dinner ASAP, dinner @ 6:30, baths @ 7PM, kids bedtime at 8PM. I do more homework from 8:30 to 9:30 or 10, then I shower and fall into bed by 10:30PM. Repeat until eternity.

  • Depends very much on the day.. I'll go with Thursdays, that's the busiest! Wake up, take out the dog, get ready for the day, wake up my daughter (2yo), get her ready for the day, breakfast, prepare for take-off, give (her) daddy kisses byebye, head to class 45 minutes away for a few hours, lunch, pick daughter up from wherever she may be with daddy, play for a bit, drop off to nana's for work, pick up after work, drive 45 minutes home, put daughter to bed, homework, bed. PHEW. The life of a working college mama. Keeps me busy :)

12:30-1PM Wake up from nap, I get her a drink and make our lunch
1-5PM Play, learn, maybe watch spongebob or something
5:30PM Nana and Jaidyn go on a walk while I make dinner
