Anterior Placenta

Hello. I am currently 20 weeks 2 days pregnant. I have an anterior placenta which means that my placenta is located in front of the uterus which cushions the baby's kicks. I was wondering if anyone else went through this? I have yet to feel movement and wasn't sure with this when you actually start?

  • I was further than that before i felt kicks. No one ever said anything to me about where my placenta was. It may very well have been anterior.

  • Yes i had an anterior placenta. So annoying! I had so many non stress tests because it was hard for me to feel the baby move. I ended up having a beautiful baby girl. good luck!
