  • You need to set limits and boundaries, but be respectful about it too. She is your child and you also have grandchildren. No matter how angry you are with her, you should never kick her out of your life. I feel you will soon regret it. Be very careful what you say too because nothing hurts worse than negative words from your mom, even when you may deserve it. Setting boundaries is a healthy way to deal with the situation and hold her to respect your home. If not, help her get on her feet and get her own place...don't just throw her out or bail. Over time you will see that it may be a little more difficult in the short term, but you will need your family in the long run. :) You can also pray (there's power in prayer) and see if you can get her and the kids involved in church. Through God all is possible.

  • You did have a choice. And you chose to bail her out by taking care of her children while she was - incarcerated, it sounds like. I totally agree with the 2 posters on your first post. She disrespects you because she can.

  • You need to pull your head out of .....
Woman up and kick her and her children out. She's made some bad choices and you don't have to take it. You don't have to raise her children....that's her job.
