  • You will ovulate between 12-16 days before the first day of the next period.

It doesn't matter how long your period is, it matters how many days are between day 1 period and the next day 1 period.

You say that it lasts between 21-31 days. This indicates that you are not ovulating each month.

  • Sometimes it's just hormones. If you chart your BBT it will tell you if you ovulate or not. Cervical position and cervical mucous will tell you if you are fertile (meaning the ability to keep sperm alive long enough to reach the egg).

  • We can't tell you that. Every women ovulates at different times of the month. Luteal phases are 11-17 days from the expected start of your next period which means that sometime between 11 and 17 days from when you expect to start you will ovulate.

You best bet it to learn to chart. Ovulation calculators are innacurate, OPKs are often off by to many days, and monitors are both flawed and expensive.

Get the book Taking Charge Of Your Fertility and learn to chart. Charting is the most accurate way of determining when you ovulate and it's the most cost efficant way.

    GOOD LUCK!

  • 10-14 days or so. I personally would rec. doing at least one month of OPK to get an idea. There are other ways but that is what I did.

  • The 10-14 days thing is only accurate if you have a perfect 28 day cycle and even then it can be off.
