my 8mth old dd is sick....what should i do?

monday my dd threw up during the day some and again that night....since then her reflux has just been worse but not thorwing up like she did that day.....shes not running fever but is super fussy and is barley eating....she would normally get 4-7oz bottles a day and baby food twice a day to go along with that....lately shes eating 2-3 bottles and not wanting any food....the only thing i can get her to eat is her gerber snacks...the lil star ones...i was goin to bring her to the doc today but the office was closed when i got off of work bc they close early on im gonna take her to doc tomorrow...shes having more dirty diaps than normal but not quite as many wet there anything i can do till the doc tomorrow?? ive tried pedialyte and juice instead of milk since she doesnt seem to want the bottle and she doesnt want that either....shes just fussy and wants to be held all day.....any advice would be appreciated

  • The wet diapers are less bc she isn't drinking as much. Those lil gerber snacks are blan and probly soothing her poor tummy. Try some clear pedialyte, water and her milk untill you get her to the doc. Maybe some plain mashed potaoes if she is good with her food otherwise just leave her be munchin on those gerber snacks tonight.

  • she could be teething. some babies have a hard time, and sometimes several teeth pop through at once making things even worse. she could have a virus. sometimes when i have a virus i eat less too. i say keep pushing the fluids and snuggle all night!
