  • Local mall usually holds a free function once a week, the local public library has free functions all the time, groups in Yahoo, meetup.com, and if you don't mind paying to be able to hang out M.O.P.S.

  • Meet.up.com or the local library. Some toy stores or learning stores have crafts for kids

  • you can go to your public library and they have some there or in achurch that you go to, you can also make them yourself if you have friends with kids the same age as your you guys can get together one day a week or as ofthen as you guys want. i do this with my 2 year old. it started withonly 2 kids me and my friend from there as we were meeting other people and the other people would bring more kids now theirs 11 kids they met every 2 weeks in a diferent persons house or sometiems we take them all out to the park or outside all together its really cute

  • Like others here, I recommend meetup.com. I actually run a SAHMs group through meetup.com in my area. I've met so many people, and my kids (12 months and 3 years) have made a lot of friends. Also, if you have children's activities (like gymnasiums, a children's museum, or music classes for small children) in your area, try those.
