What age can I put my daughter in a booster?

My daughter is 3 years old and weighs 32 lbs and is 35.5 inches tall. I am just wondering if any one knows what is the state law for new hampshire about children and booster seats or car seats. I know she is to small but i am just curious.

  • I would still have her rearfacing now and put her forward and in a 5 point harness next, and booster her after she outgrows the harness. This one harnesses to 80lbs and 53" tall. Then I would booster her.

  • Please check out the car seat safety group. They are really nice ladies who have tons of car seat info.

  • She needs to be 4 years old and 40 pounds at minimum. What car seat is she in now? Most convertible "toddler" car seats are outgrown when your child is over the weight limit (usually 40 pounds unless you have one that has a higher weight limit for the harness) or when the straps are below the child's shoulders.
