so i got my voters card now what?

i have never voted do you go and vote? will someone show me how to vote? can someone go in there with me? is there a paper vote where you just pick yes or no?

  • Take your card with you and your ID to the location on the card. They will show you how to vote although it is pretty self explanitory. It's different in some place but it's not ususally papper anymore. No one can go in the voters booth with you, except maybe a child.

  • You are allowed to review the ballot before you even go to the polls -- you should check with your county election supervisors office and see if they have sample ballots avail yet...

    IDK about where you live - but here in FL we are also allowed to take any "notes" we may have in with us...for example you won't just be voting for Pres (although you could) there will be several other local issues on your ballot as well...some people make notes about their POV before they go so they don't end up confused by the ballot...just ask they will be more than happy to help you!
