How do I get the stickiness out of my carpet?

I don't have a carpet shampooer and my carpet is sticky from things being spilled on it. Is their any kind of product I can buy that would get the sticky out?

  • If it is sticky, it likely has food etc. in it. It needs to be cleaned and have it extracted out. If it isn't done, there could be permanent damage, mold and bugs. You can rent one at the grocery or maybe borrow one from a friend.

  • I live in Texas and I would highly recommend 1-800-StanleySteemer we have them come by maybe once or twice a year they are that good. If not time for a new carpet or get a rug to cover that mess if you plan on using something cheaper like Resolve. GL
