how long after a c-section do I have to wait before I can soak in the tub?

it seems like the incision is healed but I'm a bit worried that it will open...

  • i did once my stitches came out (10 days) but i think they want you to wait 6 weeks because of the risk of infection via vagina. Whatever, I'm in pain and I took that bath the minute my stitches were out and I havent had any problems LOL

  • My nurse told me that I had to wait at least 4-6 weeks and I had a csection. I don't think it was because of the incision, but because you could get an infection vaginally.

    If you're unsure, call your doctors office and talk with the nurse.
