Potty training... how often should I ask if she needs to go?

She's gone on the potty 3 times in the last 3 days - bought her some training pants but trying to teach her how to know the "tickle" that tells her she has to go. How often should I ask her so that we have more opportunities for the potty?

  • I agree with the 15 minutes. We sould set a timer and my daughter knew we had to at least go in and try. Actually we just put her potty in the living room, it made it easier for her to do it. When the timer went off she tried to go potty. Then we made up a potty dance that we did when she did go potty. She loved it so much she would try hard to go on the potty. ;)

  • Don't ask at first. Take her and have her try every 15 minutes. Then, once routine up it by 15 minutes and repeat. She will get it soon.
