What else can I put in oatmeal cookies besides raisins or nuts?

  • chocolate chips, other dried fruits like dried cherries or dates..., m&m's, candied ginger.

  • chocolate chips, peanut butter chips or cinnamon chips. The chocolate chips & cinnamo chips are my favorite. Never put them together though...that might be real good.

    I like macadamia nuts & chocolate chips in my cookies. Sometimes if i am feeling funky, i'll throw coconut in it too. LOVE to play with oatmeal cookies. FYI - margarine & bread flour makes for a softer cookie. I like my oatmeal cookies on the soft & chewy side.

  • Cranberries!! Like Craisins... They are SO yummy in oatmeal cookies! Also like others have said... Chocolate, IMO, goes great with everything, but really well with Oatmeal cookies!
