so i have all these old news papers...

they are about 40 years old, they were dug out from a house and just handed to me, some of them are torn and alot of it is still good. its a pretty big stack of newspapers, what would you do with them?
i can frame a few but what about the rest?

  • before they just become dust in the wind .... the ones that are in good condition might be worth throwing on ebay .... newspaper from the day you were born or your wedding anniversary etc, might get you a few bucks.

  • Newsprint will degenerate to crumbles eventually. If there is something in them you want to keep take the article, picture or whatever down and make a copy on acid free, lignin free paper. Sometimes it's called archival paper. It will not yellow and disintergrate.

  • you can shred them and put them in a decompostion pile...if you don't mind the ink being in there. or paper mache
