  • We skipped chicken pox and are holding off on the Hepatitis vaccines. We also skipped the rotovirus one. We skip flu shots. And we will skip HPV. He also only gets 2 shots max at a time and we would get his next shots 3-6 months later.

We do DTAP, MMR, HIB, and pneumococcal, polio, and meningococcal.

  • I don't selectively vax. The major thing is the Thimerisol(sp?) in the vaccines. I have been assured by our ped that none of the vax he uses contains it. How do you get into public schools without all the vaccines?

  • I skipped chicken pox, I will skip HPV, we dont do flu they are not necessary and life long cause more harm then good- send me a note if youd like elaboration

We do get DTAP- those are killers
    HIB- is a killer

MMR I was talked into it grrr!

polio (oral only) its safest -- all vaxing on the delayed schedule

  • I honestly did not know enough when I was a new and young mom. I just did what the doctors said. Looking back now I would have been much more selective..
