  • I'm a career waitress/server. Been doing it for about 5 years, since college. Now I only work 1-2 days a week because my husband works and actually I would rather him be the only breadwinner. I just work the limited days to keep my foot in the door in case my husband loses his job and I could work more to take up the slack.

  • I am an independent consultant for TastefullySimple. I make my own hours, how much work is how much I get paid. I love it because I can pick it up and put it down when I need to :)

  • I own my own business and I do freelance writing. I work at home, so I don't really keep track of hours. But I would say 6 hours a day is average with some work on the weekends.

  • I am an in home caregiver. I work anywhere between 10 hours a week, to 50 hours a week. I love my "job" because it isn't really a job to me. I get to be with my DD, she gets to have a playmate, I get to effectively run my home, & I get paid. I could not ask for anything better.
