How long after

How long after your baby started pulling up on furniture did they start walking? DD has started pulling herself up this week. Just wondering what other people's experiences where. I know she will start walking when she's ready, just seeing what other babies did.

  • My son did that for about a month and then started slowly easing away from holding on. Just make sure that the area is child proofed and be prepared for lots of bumps and falls. You can help her by holding he hands and walking with her.

  • My son was 11 months when he started walking, and it was pretty funny because he would never let go of anything. We went on a trip to California so my grandparents could see him for the first time, the second we set him down on the floor he walked all the way from the livingroom to the kitchen. Surprise Surprise the kid could walk, but I figured it was because we had wood floors he'd never let go, too much falling down I guess, my gradparents had carpet.
