  • My first born is darker than my husband and I but I'm sure it's because he skipped a generation, because my father is very dark and my husband's mother is dark as well. My second son is very light like my husband and I, so children can definitley come out with a completely differenct complexion than their parents.

  • all my kids are half black and white, as they get older- there skin wil get darker over time..both my son and daughter came out looking white with jet black hair...but my son is 2 1/2 now with medium brown hair and is getting yellow (like me). my daughter is 6wks and is slowly turning her yellowish color sooner than my first. its ok for them to have slightly diff shades

  • My good friend's baby came out real light skinned but she was jaundiced. After a few months she was as dark as ever. Their skin color will change as they get older....

  • One of my friends told me with her child, it took about a month or so for him to turn a "darker" color. Of course, this son could just be a lighter skintone.

  • A friend of mine is white & blonde, her husband is very dark (AA). All of their babies were very very light at birth, and got darker as they got older. They range from 5 months to 10 years now and are all different shades.
