how do you teach your kids to use their inside voices?

  • I always talked to my son very softly when he was being too loud indoors. He would have to quiet down to hear what I was saying, lol. Then, I would tell him he was being way too noisy, and we needed to remember our inside voices for inside.

  • i told my dd that i could not hear her unless she spoke properly... a few times of ignoring her when she was too loud worked...

  • Currently going through this right now. I find putting my finger over my mouth and softly saying shh has been working lately. Sometimes i have to fuss though.

  • By examples meaning I using it and at times at the library all I had to do is this  just as a reminder.
