what ever happened to the term nursing

it used to be when you fed your baby with your boobs it was called nursing which is a good term. i'm sorry but breasts are on chickens, you deep fry them, bake them, or grill them. even boobfeeding sounds better. anyway my question is why don't people say nursing or to nurse anymore? it wasn't that long ago

  • I still say it. I don't care for the term breastfeeding. It might be accurate technically since women have breasts but it sounds a little personal. I think everyone should call it what they want.

  • Are you afraid of the words 'Penis' and 'Vagina' too? hahaha

  • I used/use both terms. I like nursing better, personally, bc it sounds more like what it is and more of an endearing term.

  • I am old school and call it nursing, but breasts are breasts, not just on chickens and turkeys and not just for frying.

  • I still use those terms 100% of the time IRL. On the 'net it's kind of 50/50.
