Which do you perfer honesty or feel good answers?

When you ask a question or when it comes to relationships would you rather have an honest answer/friend or a answer/friend that just makes you feel better, but doesn't tell you what they really think? I perfer honesty in all my relationships and on questions that I post on here. I don't need hot air blown up my booty.

  • Honest answers are always fine, but not when you call people idiots ^^^ *ahem ahem* ^^^ I prefer honest ones, too, but I always try to say something reassuring, to try to help the person in question feel better.

  • I would rather have honesty even though the truth may hurt sometimes.

  • Honest, but, not abusive.

  • I always worry honesty might hurt so I try to coat it for sensitive issues...then again some days I just lose patience and blurt out pure honesty. I have little tolerance for some things like lies and whining (different from venting) and plagiarism and stuff like that. ok, I'm starting to ramble and that's honest! LOL

  • I agree honest, but not abusive, and please don't sugarcoat it. Give it to me straight I'm a big girl.
